Blood is also collected from the patient’s peripheral vein and then spun down into Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP. 

  • Performing the Stem Cell Injections

The stem cells and the PRP are injected into the affected area of the patient’s body such as knees, hips, and, shoulders. Stem cell injections and all other treatments are done very carefully to ensure the patient’s safety. Fat aspirate may also be added as a scaffolding.

  • Returning to Normal Daily Routines

The entire procedure for stem cell treatments is concluded within two to three hours. After the stem cell injection, the patient should be able to comfortably move on his or her own.

  • Setting a Follow-Up Appointment

After more or less than a month, the patient needs to do a follow-up appointment to make sure that the stem cell injection is successful. The doctor may also do another PRP injection to enhance the regenerative effects and healing process of the stem cell treatments.
